Encinal Bluffs
This is Malibu’s other beach community where you can find multi acre parcels that can own from Pacific Coast Highway, down to the beach. The Encinal Bluffs is one of Malibu’s most western beach communities. A typical Encinal Bluffs estate property is one that sits on an acre or two (and can get up to about 10 acres), is on a rolling midrange to high bluff, and has a path to a fantastic picturesque, rock bordered beach cove, with sandy secluded beaches. Until they put the Starbucks in at the corner of Broadbeach Road, I think most people I showed homes to in this area thought that we might drive right off the edge of the world if we went any further west. As Malibu has drifted westward in its development, some of the finest estates in Malibu have been built on the Encinal Bluffs. It is incredibly beautiful, private, and secluded. This area would clearly fall into my father’s “County by the Sea” category.
