Escondido Beach
Sometimes it is hard to remember Escondido Beach even exists because it is so well hidden from view while driving along Pacific Coast Highway. Escondido Beach is made up of single family homes that run along a winding road that parallels PCH and runs below Geoffrey’s restaurant. There are sections of the beach that are quite deep and sandy, as well as several sections where the homes are built closer to the water. My love of all things that feel like the old Malibu I grew up in always makes me appreciate Escondido Beach. In places, it feels lost in time. Definitely “Country by the Sea”.
