Malibu Road
Malibu Road runs just west of the Malibu Colony. Malibu Road is several miles long and ranges from some of the nicest beach estates in Malibu, to multi family apartments and condos. The most eastern section of Malibu Road is referred to as the Malibu Colony outside the gates, and is still part of the Malibu Colony Home Owners Association. This section of beach has been highly coveted and has some of the best of everything Malibu has to offer, with deep beach, wide lots, gorgeous homes, set back off of Pacific Coast Highway, and within walking distance to Malibu’s main commercial centers. Malibu Road has some sandy sections and some rocky sections, has patches of poor geology, and is a road that you definitely want to know the ins and outs of before you purchase, but it is a fantastic address if you take the time to find the right property. The road itself is a wonderful walking, jogging, and biking street, and there are several great surf breaks on and near Malibu Road. It has a bit of both the “City by the Sea” and “Country by the Sea” feel, and is probably more diverse than almost any other beach community in Malibu.
